Frequently Asked Questions

Decorative concrete or interlock should be sealed every 2-4 years for protection against salt, chemicals and the environment, and to restore its original, vibrant finish.

Crystaller uses a slip-resistant additive mixed into our sealer. It provides much better traction than not using it at all, especially on stamped and smooth surfaces.

Crystaller recommends spreading sand in high traffic areas for better traction in winter.

Crystaller sealer is dry to the touch in about 10 minutes. We recommend 4-8 hours for light foot traffic and 12-24 hours for vehicles and heavy objects.

Keep it clean! Use a blower or rinse frequently to remove dirt, leaves or debris. This will prevent small particles to cause abrasion under tires, foot traffic and weather conditions.

Yes, Crystaller uses the highest quality cleaners and equipment, but the key is to clean the stain right away, before it penetrates into the surface. The longer the stain sits untreated, the harder it is to remove

Here are 5 easy steps for cleaning oil stains:

1. Combine powdered laundry detergent and a bit of water.
2. Mix it until a paste is formed.
3. Scrub the mix into the stain and let it stand for a few minutes.
4. Rinse until all detergent is gone and repeat.
5. You may need to repeat this process a few times.

Sealing is best when the climate is dry and the temperature is above 6 degrees Celsius. Our season runs from mid April to November.
